The first 10 entries are free (first‑come, first‑served).

After the first 10 spots are filled, the non‑refundable entry fee is $25 USD.

All sign‑ups receive an acknowledgement of receipt.
Starting from the 11th sign‑up, parents/guardians will receive an email with a payment link to complete the entry fee.

📹 Video Submission Requirements

Every sign‑up must include ONE YouTube video link.

Submissions without a video link will be cancelled.
No video replacements or resubmissions are allowed after sign‑up.

The child’s face must be visible so judging can verify identity and evaluate performance presence.
Videos remain private and are never shared publicly without consent.

🎹 Who Can Participate

• Children ages 6–12

• Open to all nationalities (read Right to Decline or Disqualify for limitations)

• One entry per child

🎼 What to Play

Participants must perform ONE piece from The Bagels on the Table by Lisa Ruping Cheng.
Music can be found on the Sheet Music & Repertoire page.

Instrument: Acoustic or digital piano

Video Requirements:

• Horizontal (landscape) recording

• Face, hands, body, and keyboard clearly visible

• No cuts or editing

• Uploaded to YouTube as Unlisted

• Video used only for judging and awards; never shared publicly without parent/guardian consent

We are uploading demonstration videos for all 26 required pieces on our YouTube channel. Several tutorials are already available — collected in the playlist “The Bagels on the Table Tutorials Piano Level One” — and additional videos will be released throughout the sign‑up period so your child can listen, choose, and practice with confidence.

🧡 Parent/Guardian Consent

By submitting an entry, the parent or legal guardian confirms that:

• They give permission for their child to participate in the Bagels on the Table World Piano Contest.

• They understand the child’s Unlisted YouTube video will be viewed only by the judging panel.

• They understand no video will ever be posted publicly without explicit written consent.

• They agree that the child’s first name, last initial, age, and award title may be listed on the Winners page unless they request otherwise.

• They agree that all contest results and decisions are final.

This consent is required for the safety and privacy of all participants.

🔒 Privacy & Data Protection

• All personal information (child’s name, age, email, video link) is used only for contest administration.

• Videos remain private and are never shared or used in promotions without written permission.

• Data is not sold, shared, or used for any purpose outside the contest.

💰 Refund & Withdrawal Policy

• The $25 entry fee (after the first 10 free spots) is non‑refundable.

• Once a submission is received, it cannot be withdrawn, replaced, or edited.

🚫 Right to Cancel the Event

Wowospot Kids reserves the right to cancel or postpone the contest for any reason.
If cancelled, all paid entry fees will be refunded.
If postponed, parents/guardians may choose to keep their entry or request a refund.

🚦 Right to Decline or Disqualify

Entries may be declined or disqualified if they:

• do not follow the video rules

• contain inappropriate content

• are incomplete or missing required information

Participation is limited to regions where Wowospot Kids can safely support payment processing, communication, and contest administration.
Wowospot Kids may decline entries from unsupported regions.

Results are based on the published criteria

📹 YouTube Video Responsibility

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

• uploading the video to YouTube

• setting it to Unlisted

• ensuring the link remains accessible

• resolving upload errors, copyright claims, or blocked content

Wowospot Kids does not provide technical support for recording or uploading videos.

🎵 Authenticity Rule (No Editing or AI)

Videos must be authentic, unedited performances.
AI‑generated or altered audio/video is not permitted.

👪 Communication Policy

All contest communication will be handled by email only.
Please allow 48–72 hours for responses during the contest period.

⭐ Founding Member Status

All children who participate in any Wowospot Kids Piano Contests between May 31, 2026 and May 31, 2027 are recognized as Founding Members. This includes every contest cycle held during this period.

Founding Members are part of the very first generation of Wowospot Kids — the children who joined us in our inaugural year and helped shape the beginning of the Wowospot musical world. They receive a unique Founding Member badge on their certificates and in their digital badge collection.

This status is honorary and will not be offered again after May 31, 2027.
